For small-dose filling, a peristaltic pump is used to ensure high accuracy and fast production speed.
Best for: low-viscosity oral liquids, products sensitive to contamination, small-dose oral liquids
How it works: Liquid is transported through flexible tubing compressed by rollers.
Advantages: No direct contact between pump and liquid, easy cleaning and tubing replacement, suitable for sterile or aseptic applications.
For large-dose, viscous oral liquids, a piston pump can be used to ensure both high production efficiency and a filling accuracy of around ±1–2%.
How it works: A piston draws a fixed volume of liquid into a cylinder and then dispenses it into the bottle.
Advantages: Stable and repeatable volume control, easy to adjust filling volume, widely accepted in pharmaceutical production
